Oyster Table Lamp Lilac

The Oyster/Østers Table Lamp is inspired by the elements an oyster learns to thrive within, cultivating itself from sand, adversity, balance, and calmness, turning itself into something phenomenal. The lamp is handblown in glass in specifically chosen colors and textures to emit light-calming hues which highlight the lamp's curves and waves.

Materials & Techniques:Handblown soda-lime glass, CNC machined brass. Mouth-blown bulb/pearl is designed to fit an LED bulb and snuggled within the handblown shell/lampshade's center. The steel base pedestal is fitted with a handmade fastened prosthetic to allow for a fully concealed attachment so the lighting structure emits its light at an angle. The cording is gold and white houndstooth with a non-polarized angle lamp plug. Because of the glass's unpredictability, control, and patience to make it, each object has its own unique shape and personality.
